Carte/Card

Parterre de fleurs / Flower bed

Coucou !

Hi !

Today I entered a card in several challenges (see below). I find it even more exiting to try to find an idea that goes for everything !

On a Clairefontaine white card stock (210g) I stamped the image with Brilliance Pearlescent Thyme. I used the masking method in order to stamp the image several times without stamping on the previous image. To do so, you have to stamp the image first on a post-it note, you cut it along the borders and you place it on the part you want to protect against stamping. Between each stamping I have heat embossed with clear powder.

I colored the inner of the flowers and the leaves with Distress (Twisted Citron – Picked Raspberry) with a brush and water. Then I cut the whole part along the borders.

In a white wood paper, I cut the base for my sentiment and my flower bed with Spellbinders 5×7 Modern Stationary Die. I stamped the “happy birthday” (Penny Black – Wishes) sentiment with Memento LUXE Gray Flannel ink and I heat embossed with WOW Silver Pearl powder.

I made the card base in a white card stock (35cm x 13 cm). I folded it to half and then I put over the largest Die Die Spellbinders 5×7 Modern Stationary taking care not to put the cutting part onto the fold of the card. I used the same Die to cut the gray paper then I adhered it to the base. I placed the flower bed with adhesive foam and then I added some sequins to finalize the card.

Et voilà, le tour est joué !

  1. You do BEAUTIFUL work, Isabelle!! Love the color combo and the fussy cutting of the flowers really paid off! I want to thank you for the sweet comment about the Butterfly Die! You are so kind!
