Bonjour !
Hello !
Appetizing, no ? Today I get inspired by 2 challenges to make this card : the sketch of CAS colours & sketches and the cue word of CASology !
On reading the cue word of CASology, the first thought that came to my mind is of course this chocolate bar with crisped rice since that’s its name also here in France. It so happens that one of the members of the team, Hannelie, not to mention her, brilliantly illustrated this idea. I urge you to go and see her blog which is simply sublime with lots of CAS cards all more beautiful than the others !
Voici ma carte. / Here is my card.
As a good French, I therefore decided to use good crunchy bread and crispy croissants and I used a two-way sentiment here. In fact, “craquant” in French literally means “crunchy” but figuratively, when one says that a person is “craquant”, it means that this person is lovely, gorgeous !
In order to keep a CAS style, I made a one layer card. I first stamped the left croissant on a (NBUS) mirror stamp before transferring it on the double card. I then stamped the bread (NBUS) and the other croissant in order to fulfil the sketch from the challenge of CAS colours & sketches. Then I coloured everything with Fabrico markers.
And to finish I stamped the sentiment. And Voilà !

Mmmmm… croissants. And crusty bread. Your card is making me feel hungry! 🙂 It’s a fun interpretation of our CC&S sketch – thanks so much for joining in our challenge this past week!
Thank you Patricia !
Another effortlessly lovely card! It is a good job I have just finished my breakfast or I would be rushing out to buy some croissants! And you seem to have a stamp for all eventualities! I must do some more shopping it seems… I have not heard of Fabrico markers, so I will check them out in case I am missing out 😃😃😃. A lovely card and as always, perfect take on the challenges you entered, Lisa x
😉 Thanks you Lisa for your sweet comment ! In fact I have a lot of NBUS stamps (well less now !) and the different challenges help me to use them !
