Carte/Card

Uniko Intro – Background blocks Scattered Polka Dots & Simply Said Blocks

Bonjour !

Hello !

Are you ready for the first reveal of the September new release at Uniko ? Here we are introducing the first two sets…

Background Blocks Scattered Polka Dots
Simply Said Blocks

I love all these polka dots scattered in a nice mess to make a card background. Assembled with these strips of sentiments, you can make very CAS cards !

Here is what I propose you today.

On a white cardstock I stamped the polka dots background with an ink pad composed of 3 colours. I adhered it on a fuchsia paper and I pasted it all on my double card. I die cut two white panels that I foam mounted before gluing them on the polka dot background. Then I stamped the sentiment in black, I fussy cut it and I adhered it on a piece of Vellum. Finally I glued 3 beads in the same tones as the dots. For the fuchsia I used nail polish because I did not have the right colour.

Stamps : Uniko “Background Blocks Scattered Polka Dots” & “Simply Said Blocks” – Ink : Micia “Bravo BV-A” & Altenew “Jet Black”.

  1. Such a pretty card Izzy, adore the colours you used and I love the way you adhered the sentiment over the two raised white panels. Makes for a really interesting design. And I have heard of people colouring their gems with nail polish before – it was a good job you had the right nail polish! Look forward to your other cards from the release, Lisa xx

  2. Super carte !!

  3. Love the use of the nail polish – any port in a storm.
Looks great. The dots peeking through the
    opening is a wonderful idea.
    Love this card.
    thanks for sharing.

  4. CAS perfection Izzy and absolutely loving your colour choice. Those pinks and purples are divine. Your card layout is super fun and eye catching too. Thank you for a wonderful showcase of these stamp sets. Hugs Bev x
