Uniko intro – Background Blocks: Falling Snow

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope you enjoyed the two first day of reveal of the October release at Uniko ! Here is the third reveal…

Background Blocks: Falling Snow

I’m sure you all dreamed one day of having a stamp with a rain of flakes on it! So this stamp is made for you ! And if you know the Uniko products, this stamp complements the range “Background Blocks”.

On a double dark blue card, I die cut a circle. I first stamped the sentiment and I heat embossed with silver powder. Then I stamped all over the card the snowflakes with Versamark ink and I heat embossed with clear powder.

On a watercolour paper of the same size than the card, I drew with a pencil the circle of the window of the card. Then in this circle I stamped, with Versamark ink, the snowflakes and I heat embossed with Silver pearl powder for even more shine.

Then I used the Ink Resist Technique and I watercoloured a background with Distress inks. And that’s it !

Stamps : Uniko “Background Blocks : Falling Snow” & “Pure Florals: Poinsettia” (sentiment)  – Die : Simon Says Stamp “Stitched circles” –  Inks : Distress”Chipped sapphire, blueprint sketch, Salty ocean”- Embellishment : WoW EP “Silver pearl”, Hero Arts EP “Clear”.

  1. Totally swoonworthy Izzy and love how you’ve embossed the snowflakes all over your card base so neatly … can’t even see the joins! Gorgeous inky blending inside the window and a super clever showcase as always. xx
