K-kingdom & Uniko – Blossoms twofer cards

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope you have a great weekend! Today I’m coming back for the Twofer Card Challenge. I find this challenge very interesting because it pushes our creativity even further in order to use the products we already have in a way that can be unusual.

I was particularly inspired by Darnell’s cards, who managed to see a moose’s head in an iris flower! So let’s look at our stamps, our dies, everything we have in our stash with a new appreciation view and we will benefit even more!

C’est ce que j’ai fait et voilà ce à quoi je suis arrivée…

That’s what I did and that’s what I came to …

My daughter is a dancer so I bought a few years ago some stamps with pretty ballerinas to illustrate a page of scrapbooking (that I never made !). What I love to see in the school dance shows are the lovely lightweight suits that fly around the dancers, making their mouvements even more aerial.

So I used the outlines of a pretty flower to make a pretty tutu for this ballerina.

I stamped the upper body of the ballerina by masking the bottom (suit and legs). Then I masked the top and I stamped the outline of the flower and the inside colour and details. Finally I masked the flower and what is above and I just stamped the legs.

I coloured with colour pencils her skin, her hair, the top of her suit and the dance shoes.

I die cut the frame that I foam mounted on the card then I stamped the sentiment with golden ink.

Stamp : K-kingdom “GT-4756”, Uniko “Beautiful blooms III”, CAS-ual Fridays “mon ami” (sentiment) – Pencils : Faber-Castell Polychromos “#119, 124, 132, 134, 184, 263” – Die : MFT “Stitched square scallop” – Inks : Altenew “Frosty pink, Soft Lilac, Midnight violet”, Tsukineko Delicata “Golden glitz”.

For this card I simply made a floral composition with the stamps from the set using the new Altenew inks (blue and green) that I offered to myself !

To give a little bit of dimension, I fussy cut the flowers and I foam mounted two of them. Then I put some Stickles on the berries and a few drops around the flowers.

Finally I stamped the sentiment in black and I adhered the panel on a double white card.

Stamp : K-kingdom “GT-4756”, Uniko “Beautiful blooms III”, Simply Graphic “planche anniversaire” (sentiment) – Inks : Altenew “Sea breeze, Turquoise, Tide blue, Sea glass, ocean waves, dusk, Bamboo, parrot” – Embellishment : Stickles “Diamond”.
