Bonjour !
Hello !
I wanted to share today a card that uses a NBUS die that Loll very kindly sent me last summer (thanks again Loll !). And I used it for the first time specifically to make her a Christmas card that I can now unveiled because I know it has arrived.
Update : Happy and honoured to be one of the Outstanding design over at CAS Christmas Challenge.
Happy and honoured to be one of the Honourable mention over at CASology challenge.
To make this card I used the technique with shaving cream mixed with liquid ink. I love the lovely nuances obtained with this technique, and a lot of backgrounds can be done. The more one “dips” cardstocks in, the more the colours are soft (just as THIS card confirms).
I used this gorgeous die with a glitter paper that reminds me of winter frosts. Then I adhered it directly on the blue background.
To finish I stamped the sentiment with silver ink on a slightly iridescent double card which intensifies this feeling of cold, then I foam mounted the image.
And Voilà ! An easy and quick card to make for a gorgeous contrast effect.
Fournitures / Supplies :
- Die : no brand mentioned
- Catherine Pooler ink : Reinker “Fiesta blue”
- Simply Graphic : “planche voeux assortis” sentiment
