Less is More #391 – Take 3

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope you are well and that you enjoyed the last challenge at Less is More ! Today we come back with a new challenge that, I’m sure, will please you because it’s about making a card with 3 “something” (eg 3 words or 3 images or 3 colors – something where you have 3 of an item).

Visible Image is still our sponsor and our Guest Designer is our January winner, Joanne James from The Crafty Owl. I invite you to visit her blog and leave her a nice comment.

Voici mes cartes…/ Here are my cards…

1/ Tu es fantastique (using sponsor stamps) : 3 colours & 3 groups of circle

Here is the second set of stamps that I offered myself during the Black Friday sales. The design of this seahorse is simply gorgeous. I take on this challenge by stamping it in turquoise blue over the double white card and with Zig pen brushes I filled the empty spaces with two extra colours.

As I filled the empty spaces with the turquoise pencil (slightly lighter than the stamped ink), a happy accident occurred. I discovered some small splatters in some places on the white card. As I had just finished coloring it, I decided to add some more ! Then I stamped the 3 circles.

To finish I stamped the sentiment on a white card stock, I cut it and I foam mounted it.

Stamps: Visible Image “Create your calm”, Altenew “Label love French” (sentiment) – Inks: CP “All that jazz”, Altenew “Lagoon” – Brush pens : Zig Clean color “#42, 4, 202”

2/ Easter Tweetings : 3 frames, 3 chicks & 3 colours

Aren’t they adorable these 3 little chicks ? So cute that I decided to frame them ! I used a die to dry embossed the frames.

Then I stamped the chicks inside the hexagons trio and I coloured them with colour pencils.

To finish this very simple card, I stamped the sentiment.

Stamps: Create a Smile “Easter Tweetings” – Inks:  Altenew “Industrial diamond & Silver stone” – Colour Pencils : Faber-Castell Polychromos”#102, 106, 185, 108, 154, 156, 130, 127, 230, 231″ – Die : 4 en scrap “Trio d’hexagones”

3/ Oh Happy Day : 3 colours, 3 embellishments, 3 balloons, 3-words sentiment & a 3-layers die cut

Update : Happy and honoured to be one of the top 3 winners over at Day of the Month Card club

Avez-vous vu le nouveau défi qui vient d’ouvrir ses portes, celui de Gundi (Papierelle), Cornelia (Stempel Spass) et Rosi (Let’s take time) et qui s’appelle Day of the Month Card ?

Have you seen the new challenge that has just opened, that of Gundi (Papierelle), Cornelia (Stempel Spass) and Rosi (Let’s take time) and which is called Day of the Month Card ?

It is with this new challenge in mind that I made this card. I die cut 3 times the word happy in a white cardstock, I glued them together then I adhered them on the double white card.

On a white cardstock I stamped the hippopotamus then the balloons trio. I coloured them with colour pencils and I fussy cut.

To finish I stamped the rest of the sentiment in grey and the 3 “fireworks” in the 3 colours. Then I foam mounted the hippopotamus.

Stamps: MFT “Happy hippos”, Uniko “Big & bold: happy”  – Inks:  CP “Tiki torch, Fiesta blue, Grass skirt”, Altenew “Industrial diamond” – Colour Pencils : Faber-Castell Polychromos “# 113, 115, 154, 156, 166, 266, 270, 271, 272, 273, 274” – Die : Uniko “Big & bold happy die”
