Uniko – May 2019 Release, Blog Hop & Giveaway !

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope you have enjoyed these 4 days of introduction and all the wonderful inspirations proposed by my teammates and our Guest Designer, Jenny ! Today it’s the big day and you will be able to admire the entire new release from Uniko with even more inspiration on the main blog and on each of the DT’s blogs and on Jenny’s blog.

Which makes a total of: 4 new sets of stamps, 1 new stencil and 2 new sets of dies ! I am sure that in this beautiful lot you have already found your happiness !

Voici comment cette nouvelle collection m’a inspirée…

And here is how this new release inspired me…

“Mid Century Modern Florals”, “Originally Organic Additions” (little flower), “Birthday Wishes” (sentiment) & “Designer Dies English Country Garden : Butterflies”

Inks : CP “Aquatini & Samba” – Die : Spellbinders “5×7 modern stationary”.

You can easily see from where I get inspired !

“Large Background Sketched Foliage”, “Designer Dies English Country Garden : Butterflies”, “English Country Garden : Butterflies” &”All Occasion Sentiments”

Inks : CP reinkers “Aquatini, Lime Rickey, It’s a boy” – Colour Pencils : Faber-Castell Polychromos “#143, 147, 154, 156, 171, 249”.

To make the background of the card, I used Jennifer McGuire‘s method creating my own ink pad with baby wipes and reinkers.

The butterflies are coloured with colour pencils.

“Background Blocks Mid Century Modern II”, “Designer Dies Big & Bold : Wish” &”Birthday Sentiments”

 Colour Pencils : Faber-Castell Polychromos “#106, 130, 154”.

The white embossing powder didn’t fix well on the kraft paper but finally I like how it looks, like white paint over rough wood not yet sanded.

Here I used the “Wish” die cut that I made for the yesterday’s card (see HERE) plus the other die cut included in the Designer Die set.

“Mid Century Modern Florals” & “Flower Power #2” (sentiment)

Inks : CP “Samba, Mint to be & Ticky torch”, Distress Oxide “Spun sugar”, Altenew “Bamboo, Olive, Moss & Silver Stone” – Die : Spellbinders “Classic Oval Large”, MFT “Stitched basic edges”

To make this card I simply get inspired by the design and the colours (Multi Stem) of the Irish designer Orla Kiely as well as the sketch proposed by the last challenge at Freshly Made Sketches !
