Uniko Challenge #55

Bonjour !

Hello !

It’s a new challenge that starts today over at Uniko, a challenge with warm colours, those of fall ! We are looking forward to seeing your cards in our gallery.

For this challenge we are very pleased to welcome Myra as our Guest Designer for this challenge. A very young guest since she is only 8 years old! Her creation is very promising for the future ! You can admire HERE her beautiful card as well as my teamies’ ones.

The challenge starts today, Friday 21st September and will end Friday 26th October, midnight GMT. So you have 5 weeks to enter and to play with us ! For the prizes, see details on Uniko‘s blog.

Voici ma carte / Here is my card

For me, the flower that best represents autumn is chrysanthemum. I had on my desk a left over of a background made with Brushos in red-orange tones. I simply stamped the outline of the chrysanthemum on this watercolour background, then I cut it with the matching die.

I used the colour wheel of the CAS Watercolour challenge to choose the colour of the leaves. I stamped the leaves on a stripe of white cardstock with a three colours ink pad. Then I cut two of them with the matching dies.

I die cut a square and on top I adhered the stripe of paper with the leaves, the two die cut leaves and the chrysanthemum flower.

To finish I glued the image on the double white card and I stamped the sentiment.

And Voilà for me ! But you will find even more inspiration on the Uniko‘s blog where my teammies and our guest designer Myra  present their wonderful cards. Now it’s your turn !

  1. Chrysanthemums are one of my favorite flowers for Autumn, their bright colors compliment the colors of the turning leaves in our backyard.
Love the pop of color on your fabulous CAS card, Izzy.
