Less is More #413 – More

Bonjour !

Hello !

The party goes on over at Less is More where we celebrate the 9 years of the blog. We are back today with a new challenge. Two weeks ago we were asking you to create a card with the smallest images and/or sentiments and to use the less possible of them. Today we challenge you to use more small images/sentiments but keeping your design CAS.

Our sponsor is still Uniko who also celebrates its birthday : 8 years ! I strongly recommend you to take a look at their blog where you can win prizes throughout the month of February. And on its shop on line you can save 10% on all your orders placed in February with the code CELEBRATE8.

Voici mes cartes / Here are my cards

1/ Happy Birthday

To make this card I used several small stamps from a set to create this whimsical flowerbed.

Without even wanting to, it’s a one layer card. I first stamped the sentiment, then the black line with VersaFine ink. Then with coloured inks, I stamped the flower buds to which I then added the stems and leaves in black.

Stamp: Clearly besotted  “Simply quilled”  & SSS “Basic stripes” – Inks: Catherine Pooler “Tiara”, Altenew “Turquoise, Lavender fields, Rubellite”, Versafine “Onyx black”.

Time Out #155 – inspired by words (birthday)

2/ Toute ma tendresse (using sponsor stamps)

For this card I used lot of small stamps of several sets. I first die cut a scalloped rectangle in a blue card stock. Then I stamped the images with Versamark ink and I white heat embossed.

I flat adhered this panel on the double white card then I added 2 navy blue drops of Crystal Drop in the center of the flowers.

To finish I stamped in blue the sentiment on a stripe of white card stock and I foam mounted it.

Stamp: Uniko  “So much”, “I love coffee”, “Originally organic additions”, “Background builders: vines”, “happy succulents” & “Nature treasure II”, Simply Graphic “Planche un petit coucou” (sentiment) – Die: MFT “Stitched mini scallop rectangle” – Ink: Versafine “Majestic blue” – Embellishment: Nuvo Crystal Drops “Navy blue”.

  1. That first, stylised, line art floral card is so fresh, Izzy … light and airy with a touch of funkiness! Lovely second card … so charming … puts me in mind of Wedgewood china! Bon dimanche! Grosses bises, Anita 🙂

  2. 2 lovely cards, Izzy. I love that stamp set you used on the first with it’s quilled look. I love the blue stitched and scalloped panel with those gorgeous white embossed flowers on the second. The sentiment strip looks wonderful where you placed it.
