Happy Halloween

Bonjour !

Hello !

It is not an ordinary post for me today, indeed I am so honored to be the guest designer for CASology this week and their cue word is SPOOKY !

Spooky……hum let me think ? Something about Halloween ? I must admit that I was not in my confort zone with this cue word ! Halloween is not really celebrated here in France.

To do this card, I took out (NBUS) stamps on the theme of Halloween. On a strip of black paper I stamped the spider web over the entire length with Opaline ink and I adhered it on the double white card. Using the MISTI, I stamped the sentiment as well as the spider and the bats and I heat embossed with clear powder.

On a white cardstock, I stamped the skeleton with Versafine ink and I heat embossed with clear powder. Then I die cut it with a Stitched circle die from Simon Says Stamp and I adhered it on the black strip.

To make the pumpkin, I first applied the Distress ink orange and yellow on a white paper. Once the desired color obtained, I stamped the image with black ink Versafine and I heat embossed with clear powder. I cut the image with scissors all around the edge and I affixed it with adhesive foam (1mm).

And Voilà ! In fact I think the pumpkin scares me more than the skeleton! And you, what does the word SPOOKY inspires you? I look forward to see your creations!
