TO #79 CASE GD – Une nouvelle vie vous attend / A new life is waiting for you

Bonjour !

Aujourd’hui est un jour très spécial pour moi et je suis super excitée et honorée de me joindre à l’équipe de TIME OUT en tant que créateur invité. Merci à Nonni, Sandie et à toute l’équipe de me recevoir !

Hello !

Today is a very special day for me and I’m super exited and honoured to be joining in the TIME OUT Team as the Guest designer. Thanks to Nonni, Sandie and all the team for welcoming me over !

Le défi pour cette quinzaine est un CASE Challenge (CASE = Copy and Share Everything) et c’est une magnifique carte de Jenny Mullins de Crafting in the country que nous devons copier !

The challenge for this fortnight is CASE Challenge and we are CASEing this beautiful CAS card of Jenny Mullins from Crafting in the country !

Voici ma carte / Here is my card :

I chose to copy the whole card :

  • the new home theme
  • the tree branch with the birdhouse
  • the sentiment
  • the dark paper as a support

I die cut a rectangle of watercolour paper then I stamped the image with black Verssafine ink and I heat embossed with clear powder. Then I coloured the image with my watercolour brush pens.

To finish, I adhered “wood” paper on the top of my double card then I foam mounted my image to give a bit more of dimension to the card ! The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed. And Voilà !

I hope you’ll like to play to this new challenge and that you will have as much fun as me !

Bises, Anita 🙂

  6. Hi Izzy. What a wonderful CASE of Jenny’s card. I love the hand-drawn look of this image, and you have colored it beautifully. I also love the woodgrain effect on your card base. You and I were definitely thinking alike! Your work is always wonderful, and it is lovely to have you with us as Guest Designer for this challenge.

  7. Congratulations Izzy, I am so thrilled for you to be the guest designer for this challenge! How exciting for you and of course, you very much deserve this chance. Another beautiful stamp – you have so many that are just waiting to be put onto a card and made into something very special. I love the design of the card, the stamp and the colouring are more than enough to make this a beautiful creation. And your watercolouring is the perfect medium for this card and style. The wood panelling at the back is of course the icing on the cake! Beautiful, and once again, congratulations, hugs, Lisa xx

  8. Congratulations on being the guest designer. Such a fabulous card and great take on the CASE card. Love how you’ve popped your card onto the dark wood embossed card. Great job x
