Carte/Card

Sentiment encadré / Framed sentiment

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope you are all well ! Die, die, die, the joys of Die ! There are currently several challenges with the cue word “Die cuts” so, just for once 😉, I combined several challenges to make these cards !

Carte 1/ Card 1

Ici j’ai combiné les challenges suivants / Here I combined the following challenges :

On a white paper, I created the patterned paper in two shades of bleu with a stamp from Uniko. Then I die cut this patterned paper with an Impression Obsession die which has the particularity to make 6 frames in one single die ! I then used this die with 3 different papers. To keep it CAS, I only used 3 frames. Then I cut the sentiment with a Memory Box die in a scrap of this patterned paper.

To finish, I adhered the 3 frames on a white double card together with the sentiment. Then I glued a blue rhinestone instead of the point on the “i”.

Carte 2 / Card 2 :

I had fun doing another card with the same die but with brighter colours ! This time I used a Simon Says Stamp stamp to make the white polka dots. As I needed a birthday card I then used this sentiment !

I enter this one in the challenge of AAA Cards #86 : Diecuts

  1. What a clever idea, I love both cards but especially the crisp blue colours, remind me of china plates.
Thanks so much for joing this month’s Happy Little Stamper’s Challenge
    Anne

  2. It would be so easy to just used patterned paper here wouldn’t it. But instead you made your own for both cards, and they are so pretty. It is not something I do too often on my cards, but I do love to see it. I really like the blues particularly, they look very French :). Beautiful cards as always Izzy, Lisa x

    1. Yes may be it was too easy and I though it was not fair so I wanted something more personal ! Thanks for your kind words Lisa ! Hugs.

  3. Two amazing cards! I love the full color palette of the second card. However, the biggest impression on me is the first card and the extraordinary appearance of the word MERCI. WOW, looks like a million dollars!
Thank you for sharing with us on Happy Little Stampers.
    Hugs,

  4. I love these designs, Izzy – the frames add a great focal point for your cards. I absolutely love the blue and white design which, as Esther has said, makes me think of elegant china! Thank you for joining us at Less is More this week 🙂

    Bises.

  6. The bold, vibrant, colourful frames and fun polka dots are perfect for a birthday celebration, Isabelle … and oh my, those gorgeous blue hues and delicate patterns, they’re just delicious … serene, elegant and so very stylish! Bises, Anita 🙂

  7. Wow, I love these Izzy! Very creative designs. Such an elegant scheme on the first one, reminding me of old china with those lovely patterns <3 And the bright pops of colour on the second one are so eye catching and vibrant! Love! Thanks so much for sharing these with us at Less is More 🙂

  8. Oh my! Love the way that both cards look so very different Izzy, yet they use the same layout. Your blue card is definitely my favourite though. You have been very clever with the use of the pretty patterns and shades of blue. It is so elegant and refined. The brighter card is a fun one with a contemporary feel. Thanks so much for sharing these with us at Less is More xx

  9. WOW! Izzy you’ve been a busy bee! Love these examples showcasing your die-cut frames and sentiments. Blues are always my favourite colours so if I had to pick a winner here it would have to be the first one BUT I can’t resist those bold cheery colours on the second one too. Great ideas and lots of fun. Thanks for playing with us at AAA Cards, HLS CAS Challenge and Less is More this week.
