Less is More #382 – Tags

Bonjour !

Hello !

I hope that you’re fine and that you are ready for a new challenge at Less is More. Are your ready to play with tags ? You’re free to make a standalone tag or a tag attached to a card.

Our generous sponsor for October is Uniko !

1/ Hugs and fishes (Happy Birthday)

As I told you in my previous post, I bought some alcohol inks and I make some trials.

For this tag, I used a purple and a blue inks and I blended them on a Yupo paper with a foam applicator.

Once dry, I die cut the tag. Then I used the Inlaid die cut technique for the fish. I first die cut the fish in a white card stock then in the tag. Then I inlaid the white fish in the tag and I glued the coloured fish onto the double white card.

I stamped a sentiment on the front of the card. In the alcohol ink background, I also die cut the word “birthday” and I glued it in the inside of the card.

I sent this card to my sweet teamie Sharon who celebrated her birthday this week. If I remember well, I think she loves this combo of colours. It’s never too late to wish her a Happy Birthday !

Dies: STAMPlorations “Luggage Tags” & “Birthday word”, Simply Graphic “Poissons graphiques”  – Alcohol Inks : Tim Holtz “Purple twilight, Sailboat blue” – Stamp : High Hopes “Hugs and fishes”.

2/ Let is snow (using sponsor products)

To honor our sponsor, Uniko, I wanted to highlight these beautiful snowflakes die cuts !

For that I die cut a tag on which I put some Brushos powders and I spritzed water.

Once dry, I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and I white heat embossed.

On a double white card I dry embossed a snowflakes stripe. I attached a ribbon to the tag and I glued it onto the card. I die cut the snowflakes in a shiny glittery paper and I adhered them to the tag.

Dies: Uniko “Snowflake trio”, Mama Elephant “Framed tags – hug it out”  – Brushos : “Prussian blue & Ost. Blue” – Stamp : Uniko “Stunning snowflakes” (sentiment).

Update : Happy and honoured to be one of the favourites at CAS-ual Fridays

Happy and honoured to be one of the favourites at Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge.

For this last card, I used the current challenge at CAS-ual Fridays for my colours choice.

On a white card stock, I used a stencil to make a soft pink background then I stamped the sentiment in grey.

I die cut mini tags in grey papers and Vellum paper. Although they are practically invisible, on the grey tags I have stamped hearts. On a white paper I stamped the pink heart that I fussy cut and then stuck on the tag in Vellum where I also stamped and white embossed the word Love.

I attached the three tags together with a pink ribbon and I glued them on the white card. I adhered this white card over a double grey card.

Dies: Impression Obsession “mini rectangle tags 2″ – Stencil : Uniko“Doodle flower” – Stamp : Uniko ” Big & Bold – hugs” (grey heart), Uniko “I love tea” (pink heart), Uniko “Sweet baby” (love word), CAS-ual Fridays “Mon ami” (sentiment) – Inks : Distress “Spun sugar”, Catherine Pooler “Party Dress”, Altenew “Silver stone & Industrial diamond”.
